It’s no secret that we have a nationally-known skate photographer here in Calgary. Jeff Thorburn has been shooting Calgary locals at home and abroad for a while now. He’s been published in many of the major magazines and keeps his site updated with gems like this one of Dustin Crowder:

The Gatorade Ambush Tour will be hitting Cochrane, Airdrie, Strathmore, and Millennium Parks this weekend. New Zoo York pro Chaz Ortiz rips and they’re giving away free Gatorade!

Ryan Oughton convincingly took first place and $1000 for his efforts. It was a really fun event!

Another competition is happening right away. This time Skaters brings us the Matix Lord of the Lines on July 24th at the Inglewood Community Hall. Check the poster for details:
