The snow is gone but the park could use some TLC. Bring a broom and gloves and come help us get the skatepark all cleaned up for Summer. Saturday, April 10th at 1:00PM. If it rains, it’ll happen on Sunday.

Before people watched most of their skate videos computers, there was something called Skate Canada. It was a great series of videos featuring Canadian spots, skaters, and contests. Here’s an old clip of one of the Skate Canada videos that focused on Calgary. Lots of formerly uncapped spots in this one!

Check out Greenskate.org for information about this event that promotes the environmentally friendly principles of skateboarding.

Some of the Lethbridge skaters put together a rad video featuring the Boarderline mini ramp. They’re raising money to benefit victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Watch it below:
