Backyard Ramp Bylaw

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Here’s a quick post regarding the bylaw governing backyard ramps. According to bylaw #1P2007 section 344, subsection 7, “A skateboard ramp must not be located on a parcel.”
This means that no piece of land in Calgary can have a skateboard ramp.

GSD 2009 Photos

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Go Skateboarding Day was fun!
If you made it out to Eau Claire, sorry it didn’t last. Things got shut down by the police (including HAWC1). The festivities continued at Millennium Park though, and lots of free hot dogs, drinks, and skate product were handed out. If you have pics or video, please e-mail them to CASE.
Over at Boardistan, they have an interesting post regarding GSD. The Calgary Sun posted an article today too.
