Battle of Alberta 3 Competition
Thursday, July 17th, 2008The City of Calgary and C1RCA present Battle of Alberta 3 this Saturday, July 19th at Shaw Millennium Park. Can The Source make it a three-peat? I hear that some of their main team guys will be away at Am Getting Paid so this could be a good chance for another shop to snatch the title from them. Come of and see Alberta’s skate shop teams duke it out in a head to head competition. It’s free to watch and there will be a lot of giveaway$.
Black Diamond Street Spot
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008A nice little “street-spot” was recently completed in Black Diamond (about 20 minutes south of Calgary). Finally, there’s another reason to go there besides getting fireworks!

Lord of the Lines Results
Monday, July 14th, 2008Upcoming Contests
Friday, July 11th, 2008The Calgary Stampede is almost over! That will hopefully mean less junk on the streets and cowboys stumbling around. There are some things going on this weekend so make sure you check it.
Matix and Mission present “Lord of the Lines” on Saturday, July 12 on the basketball courts at Millennium. Starts at noon.
Also, there is a qualifier for the Damn Am in Banff. This is a three part series with the person accumulating the most points going to Vancouver for the finals on August 8-9. Or something like that. I think the other two events are at Cochrane and Millennium Park, but I don’t have a poster so I can’t be sure. Call your local Billabong dealer.
